Passage Program for Women

Passage is a treatment program designed specifically for women. Chemically dependent women often bring to treatment a unique history and set of needs. We have found that women respond better to supportive and open networks with other women. Passage gives priority to pregnant and parenting women and provides free childcare while clients participate in the program. The Passage Program has been counseling women since 1977.

In addition to individual and group counseling with women only, the Passage Program for Women offers:

Childcare at no cost: Women can attend treatment without worrying about who will care for their children.

A sliding fee scale: To prevent the cost of treatment from being overwhelming, the cost is based on family income and the number of dependents.

A safe environment: Some women live with fear and feel like there is no safe place. Passage is a nurturing environment that can help foster the belief in women that they can be safe and begin to trust people.
